8am- 5pm A full day of movement, joy, dynamic speakers, yoga, pound, meditation, dance parties, creative workshops, nature walks, and more. The retreat twill take place at Camp Wingate Kirkland with lots of outdoor space to become a part of in the fall on Cape Cod. Breakfast, lunch and a fall snack will be included.

Meet the Founder:
Ayanna is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, Certified School Adjustment Counselor, and certified Fitness Instructor in multiple group fitness areas. She is originally from the Boston area , received her Master’s degree of social work at Simmons College and is in the process of completing her advanced graduate degree at Simmons as well. Her Social Work background and professional career has been providing therapeutic support to students and children in public, charter, private and therapeutic schools. She also has had experience in leading, supervising staff and overseeing programs in her role as assistant principal at The Gifford School and Program Director of The Therapeutic Mentor Program at The Mentor Network in Hyannis. She had the opportunity to supervise 20 therapeutic mentors in the community of Cape Cod in her role at the Mentor Network.
Ayanna became a certified Zumba instructor in the spring of 2010 and has since fallen in love with the fitness world. She went on to become certified in Kids Zumba, Zumba Toning, Aqua fitness, Yoga 200 RYT, Y12SR Yoga, Spinning, Cize Live and Pound Fitness. She has created Are & Be Soul Yoga. Ayanna attributes her daily practice of yoga and meditation and strong connection with the body and spirit to her ability to stay inspired and help others. Her passion is to work with others in recovery from addictions, trauma, hopelessness, depression, anxiety, eating disorders and other issues through using the tools of mindfulness, movement and fun.
She currently teaches a variety of classes Cape wide at various studios such as Evoke Yoga, Dream Studios of Cape Cod, Masjah Center, Atlantis Sports Club, Fitness 500, The Tone Club and various elementary schools. Ayanna live on Cape Cod with her husband, two teenage step sons and 6-year-old daughter adopted through DCF.
